## Technical Updates
### New Speech Models: Mansa Transcribe and Gemini TTS
#### *Mansa Transcribe for speech-to-text*
Mansa Transcribe, built by African Languages Lab, is now available as a speech recognition (ASR) model. Choose it when you need to turn recordings, calls or voice messages in African languages into text inside your workflows and bots. Failed transcription requests are retried automatically.
#### *Gemini text-to-speech for voiceovers and voice replies*
Gemini text-to-speech is now a provider in Gooey.AI's Text to Speech workflow, with Gemini 3.8 Flash and Flash-Lite models. Pick a voice, describe the speaking style you want, and either set a language or leave it on auto-detect. Use it for narration, voice replies from your agent, or quick audio drafts.
### Voice Agents: More Model Choices and Dependable Tool Use
Gooey.AI voice agents now work with models set up through OpenAI's Responses API, which could not be used in voice conversations before. That widens the models you can put behind your voice agent without changing your setup.
Agents now also hand your tool and function definitions to the model correctly, so they can take actions during a live call, and they respect the model redirects and gateway settings you configure, so the model you choose is the one that answers.
### Ask Gooey: Continue a Shared Conversation as Your Own
When someone shares an Ask Gooey conversation with you, you can now reply and keep going. Your first message creates your own copy of the conversation in your workspace, with the history you can see, and the original stays untouched. Before this change, replying to someone else's conversation failed without an explanation.
Two related improvements: published runs now have a richer About page that explains what an agent or workflow does before someone tries it, and the standalone Ask Gooey page no longer scrolls past the chat widget on iPhone and iPad.
### WhatsApp Bots: More Answer Options in One Tidy Menu
WhatsApp allows only three reply buttons per message, so follow-up questions and feedback buttons used to arrive split across several messages. Gooey.AI WhatsApp bots now send extra options as a single interactive list menu, with a short description under each choice.
The result is a cleaner chat for your customers and fewer messages to scroll through. Thumbs-up and thumbs-down feedback options sit in the same menu, so you still collect ratings.
### Account Security: One Account Per Inbox, Including Gmail Variations
Gooey.AI now treats Gmail address variations as one inbox. Gmail ignores dots and "+" tags in an address and treats googlemail.com the same as gmail.com, so several spellings can reach the same mailbox.
This keeps accounts, free credits and workspace invites tied to one real inbox. Workspace invites now match by canonical email, so an invitation reaches you however the address was typed. If you try to sign in with a variation of an address that already has an account, you see a clear message instead of a duplicate account being created.
### Interface and Reliability Improvements
* **Faster, more consistent interface:** Tooltips now appear after 0.4 seconds instead of 1.2 seconds, and buttons, headings and settings look and read the same across recipe pages. There is also a new dark-mode favicon.
* **More reliable Gemini models:** Gemini models handle tool calls more reliably, including featured models, and are recognized correctly.
* **Security update:** The trusted certificate bundle was updated in response to the eMudhra/emSign certificate authority incident.
* **Clearer file names:** Generated images, audio, video and recordings now download with a descriptive name (date, run title, model), so results are easier to find and compare.

Our Founder-CEO, Sean Blagsvedt was invited to be a part of the [AI for Agriculture Technical Panel ](https://aimforscale.org/innovation-packages/ai-for-agriculture/)convened by AI for Scale!
This fantastic cohort will identify high-impact AI innovations and figure out how to scale them responsibly to improve agricultural productivity and farmer livelihoods across low- and middle-income countries. At Gooey.AI, this mission resonates deeply with our vision of making agricultural knowledge accessible to farmers through multilingual, AI-powered advisory tools.
**Our Founder and CEO, Sean Blagsvedt’s visit to KVK Patna, Bihar**
Sean Blagsvedt, our founder, visited Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK)/Farm Science Center, Barh, Patna, Bihar, in October, along with the Gates Foundation team, to see how technology and agricultural expertise coalesce on the ground.
KVK Barh showcased their innovations like community radios and Krishi Gyan Vahan to soil testing and on-field demonstrations. The highlight was definitely talking with farmers about their daily challenges with technology, and what they’d want from AI agri-advisory.
A big thank you to Bihar Agricultural University, and the entire KVK Barh team for the warm welcome and for sharing their inspiring work!
